It appears that entertainment news site Zimbio.com is starting a series of articles on Superfans, taking a look at various enthusiastic fandoms, and of course the first on the list would be on the MLP fandom.  You can check out the article here, if you’re interested.  It’s a fair overview of the growth of the fandom and the recent negative press on shows like Howard Stern’s, ending on a positive note.

All this begs the question: Does the world need more Bronies? If an influx in adult men watching talking ponies can contribute to a more benevolent, loving society, then perhaps the answer is yes.
