Well, for starters, the usually exuberant Pinkie Pie is having difficulties being a hard worker like Applejack, Rainbow Dash can’t seem to deal with Fluttershy’s menagerie, and well, see for yourself in this exclusive sneak peek of the “Cutie Mark Song”:
I thought that cutie marks were just basically a symbol of what they’re good at, but why are all of them convinced and obsessed that their talents come from the cutie marks and not themselves?
Really, they berate the CMCs for not “getting it” but it doesn’t look like they do either.
Do you not recall the episode where Applebloom forced a cutie mark? She felt compelled and eventually unable to stop performing the actions.
The CMC each have a destiny, but it’s not something that can be forced, which is what the Crusaders are doing. A destiny must be discovered so a pony can act in accordance with the universe.
Uhm… guys, to you tha fact that a such a big develpment for Twilight is gonna to be into a Musical doesn’t seems a little bit… strange?
Ok. So the guys running the show don’t understand their own show.
Cutie marks are now “destiny” and not a representation of their talents.
They know what they’re good at, and they know they’re doing an awful job of their current career attempts, but feel compelled to carry out the tasks of their friends.
