[April 18th 2011].. You may have forgotten about this game in development, considering the ocean of games that are now being produced, but I think this one is one of the oldest in that ocean. The MLP:FiM Flash-Sandbox game is a highly detailed flash game, that will also double as a development platform for people to make their own game from. For the previous update, check out their section here on DerpyHooves which includes a 5 minute video of the game, which even now is still under HEAVY construction. and is still looking for help.
.. What I have today is a 2 minute video demo that shows more whats going on under the hood, but you also get to see some of the background and characters that will be featured, such as destructible barriers, parallax, multiple playable characters, interactive props, easy flash collision and so forth. I'll let the video do the talking, and the eye candy.
.. Ms. Taylor and her team are still looking for help, the more hands, the more that can be done. Just send me an e-mail and I'll put you into contact with the team. And now, the video.
.. Gentlemen, BEHOLD. If you have been a regular visitor to the DerpyHooves site, you may remember awhile ago I talked about a MLP:FiM Flash game that was in the making. Well after 100 hours of coding, countless hours of animation and 900 lines of code, the creator Emily Taylor is ready to show off the work of her team.
.. The general idea of the game isn't a specific game, but a sandbox design that will allow users with even little flash experience to be able to create their own games from it. So in short, its more the construction of a gaming engine that will power hopefully multiple MLP:FiM games in the future. In the end though the team will assemble their own game, along with the release of the game engine for other to create from. Once released it will come with documentation on how to edit the game, for those not too familiar with Flash. There is still much to be done for the game, and if you want to lend a hand, please send me an e-mail.
.. You may have come across some of Ms. Taylor's other flash works in the pony community, she is the person behind "PonyPonyPonyPony" which was just something she quickly assembled from flash rips of the official Hub game, and created the game engine behind our own PacDerpy games (new version coming soon).
