Seems we’re going to get a couple of official tablet / phone pony games, as announced by GameTrailers.com.  Here is the copy/pasta.

They’ve invaded every corner of the Internet. Now ponies are coming for your tablet and smartphones.

Considering the popularity of the franchise online, it’s a little surprising that My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic hasn’t yet had an official game.

But they’re now in development; Hasbro and Gameloft have formed a partnership to develop the toy company’s properties for smartphone platforms. Gameloft has close ties to Ubisoft, although it’s unlikely we’ll be seeing an Assassin’s Creed/My Little Pony crossover.*

Of course, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is only one of several properties Hasbro has licensed to Gameloft. But this is the Internet. We’re only going to hear about the pony games.
