As I remarked on my post on the Princess Coronation event, the title of the event needn’t coincide with the episode title. Now Zap2it has published a synopsis for the episode “Magical Mystery Cure” (S03E13, though they specify a weird “S03E313”) to air on February 16.
By the way, M.A. Larson also commented on the title “Princess Coronation”: “News to me. That wasn’t what it was called last I heard, but those things change all the time.”

When Twilight casts a spell that switches the Cutie Marks and destinies, the only way to reverse the spell is by writing her own magic.
No idea where the coronation part comes in here, but we’ll see. That’s one golden synopsis. Speculate away!
What a Twist! This was very, VERY unexpected. O_o
So, what… does Twilight switch destinies with one of the Princesses or something? I can’t think of anything else that might even begin to relate with the whole Princess Coronation thing.

:/ Maybe the title “Princess Coronation” was just there to build hype or something, because I honestly don’t see how it fits in to this synopsis.
The Princess Coronation is probably Games Ponies Play, which we already know takes place in the Crystal Empire.

I think we may see the coronation of Princess Skyla (possible daughter of Cadence and Shining Armor) and they hyped everyone up with the Twilight/becoming princess concept. Her toy is already on shelves. I think the episode will be about Twilight but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t be attending another ponies coronation party when things go awry.
Could “magical mystery cure” be a 2 part episode? Because I think about this suspense about “cutie marks being swamped” makes this episode a 2 part one. I know that the ” twilight becoming a princess” theme is another sign. Finally, I think that fans will be sad and cry because the show will not be the same and get mad at hasbro.
