It seems Shout! Factory is sending out advance copies of the Season 2 DVD box set for review, and today we feature a video review of said set by Aficionados Chris. It doesn’t go in-depth with any of the episodes, but simply goes over the features (or occasional lack thereof on the topic of commentaries) unique to the box set. Still a solid review with a cute intro, so you can check it out after the break.
The other matter is The Last Roundup. According to the review, the box set features the edited version of the episode. Not that it was unexpected, but still noteworthy, if that one episode is relevant to your purchasing decision.

Boast Busters this time around, starting at 6:30PM EDT. Kinda curious how Trixie turns out. Although, I really didn’t get hooked on this series until episode 7, that’s the one I’m really looking forward to. We’ll see then if Katou is up to snuff, so to speak.
[Update: Applejack wins the slots this week. If there were any cuts this week, I couldn't tell. Then again, I wasn't there for the cold opening, so it may have been from there. Well, I suppose this makes up for episode 4. Your word of the day is 自慢, (Jiman, pride.) All in all, a pretty good episode.]

Where’s the first one, you ask? I forgot to do it. Anyway, the Japanese dub is airing fresh every Tuesday morning in Japan (which equates to Mondays at 6:30 EDT here). I’ll update the article with livestreams, raw and subtitled downloads, and streams that aren’t blocked in America as the rest of the day/week goes by, so check back from time to time if you have the interest. I might even translate some Japanese reactions on Twitter if there’s interest. We’ll just have to see.
