Pwnies for a Cause Charity Livestream!

Ahhhh…Don’t you just love the holidays? It’s time full of family, fun, friends, food, and all manner of generally positive activities. One especially positive activity that I particularly enjoy is a bit of a charitable giving. Especially charitable giving that takes place in a fun-filled environment with all of the aforementioned aspects and more! But dear author, what type of an event could you possibly be alluding to that would encompass all of these elements?

Well friends, it’s the ever so wonderful and gratifying charity livestream! The particular one referring of course is called “Pwnies for a Cause” and it’s hosted by the up and coming gaming centered podcast, Bluescreen Bronies! The event, which will be taking place on the 29th of December from noon until Midnight EST will be hosted on Everfree Network and it will be featuring all manner of merriment to raise money for Kiki’s Cancer Treatment Fund! So if you fancy some video games and charity, then this is the event for you! Check out the full press release after the break for information relevant links, and the likes. An Equestria L.A. Retrospective.

Me (Fellow with the Fedora) and Nor-Cal Bronies.

So a litte over 2 weeks ago, I attended California’s first My Little Pony convention in California. It was called Equestria L.A and it was a 1000 attendee convention that was held over the course of 2 days in the Anahiem Convention Center which is located in Anaheim, California or as locals such as myself like to call it, “DIDNEYWORLD”.

The Studly Stallion Stache-Off

FOB Equestria, in collaboration with Dusty Katt from Stay Brony My Friends, has launched a awareness and charity event called The Studly Stallion Stache-Off! This event is essentially our fandom’s participation in what as known as the Movember project. This project is a global effort geared towards developing awareness around prostate and testicular cancer while at the same time helping fund initiatives in education, survivorship, and prostate cancer research. Our appropriately named instance of the Movember project basically follows the same formula as the overarching event (where fine gentlemen such as yourselves take the time and effort to grow, maintain, and sport a most dapper mustache during the month of November!) but with one rather exciting distinction; If your mustache just so happens to be deemed the most magnificent of all the others by a panel of judges, then you have the chance to acquire some rather awesome pony swag courtesy of FOB Equestria and Dusty Katt! Not to mention the title of “Studly Stallion”.
